Abivax S.A. is a Paris-based pharmaceutical firm, established in 2013, dedicated to identifying and refining treatments for various serious conditions, including inflammatory and infectious diseases, as well as cancer. Its primary drug candidate, ABX464, is currently undergoing Phase IIb clinical trials for ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and COVID-19, and is in Phase IIa trials for rheumatoid arthritis. This compound has also successfully completed a Phase IIa study focused on achieving viral remission in HIV patients. Additionally, the company is advancing ABX 196, an immune-enhancing agent, through Phase 1/2 clinical trials for hepatocellular cancer.
