Leveraging its proprietary DARPin® platform, the company is advancing a diverse pipeline of product candidates. Key among these is Abicipar, a DARPin-based treatment currently in Phase III clinical development for significant ophthalmic conditions like neovascular wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME). Additionally, their portfolio features multi-specific DARPin candidates targeting infectious diseases, such as MP0420 and MP0423, both designed to combat the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19). The company actively collaborates with leading pharmaceutical companies. Notable alliances include a partnership with Novartis AG for the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of DARPin-conjugated radioligand therapies; agreements with Amgen SA and Allergan, Inc.; and a discovery alliance in ophthalmology with AbbVie Inc.
